The Covent Garden Hotel's Saketini – Recipe

For something a little unexpected, try this elegant, martini-style cocktail. It is delicate, fragrant and easy to sip, and pairs nicely with a few chunks of parmesan.

Sake Martini

Makes a single portion

30ml gin – choose a premium dry gin

15ml Lillet Blanc – a light, herbal fortified wine

15ml sake – preferably a delicate, balanced sake

Measure the gin, Lillet Blanc and sake into a shaker, add a big handful of ice cubes and stir for 30 seconds to chill well. Filter into a pre-chilled martini glass and present.
